Where we are
By air:
Marco Polo Airport at Tessera is connected to the city of Venice by both private (water taxi) and public transport.
Public transport:
- ALILAGUNA scheduled boat service directly to Piazza San Marco, hourly, journey time 60 minutes (Linea Oro: Marco Polo Airport - San Marco Giardinetti Reali). Tickets are on sale in the airport arrivals hall.
- ACTV no. 5 line every 30 minutes to Venice Piazzale Roma. The bus leaves from the square in front of the terminal exit.
By car:
At the motorway exit, follow signs for Venice - Piazzale Roma (car terminal). You can leave your car in one of the supervised car parks in Piazzale Roma.
From here, you can use the private water taxi service or public transport:
- ACTV no. 82 (seasonal) or no. 1 vaporetto in the direction of LIDO to the VALLARESSO (San Marco) landing stage; every 10 minutes, journey time about 40 minutes through the Canal Grande; after 21.00, every 20 minutes. From midnight: the N line (night).
By train:
In front of Santa Lucia railway station where trains arrive in Venice, there are private water taxis and public transport landing stages:
- ACTV no. 82 (seasonal ) or no. 1 vaporetto in the direction of LIDO to the VALLARESSO (San Marco) landing stage; every 10 minutes, journey time about 40 minutes through the Canal Grande; after 21.00, every 20 minutes. From midnight: the N line (night).
There are water taxies at all points of arrival in the city and important historical and cultural sites. Authorised taxis must display a horizontal yellow band along the cabin with the number of the licence issued by the city council.
From Piazza San Marco:
Facing the San Marco Basilica, go towards the left side of the square (the side of the Procuratie Vecchie). Cross through the porticoes into the Sotoportego dei Dai. Go over Ponte dei Dai and our reception is at the foot of the bridge on the left.
